  Bar Review: The Mowlem is a cinema / theatre with a bar attached. However, of late they are promoting the bar in its own right. Is this the sexiest bar with the most refined decor you’ve ever seen?…definitely not. But does this bar have an amazing view of Swanage Bay with a superb selection of well served Gin & Tonics? Absolutely! Hopefully over the coming seasons this bar will evolve and grow into something special. Definitely worth a visit.

Update Oct ‘23: Sadly this bar doesn’t seem to be getting much traction. The opening hours are very hit and miss with 5:30pm being about the norm. Not sure why it doesn’t open during the day. Personally I’d come here during the day to take in the views from the comfort of my indoor seat.
