Swanage Jazz Festival

Swanage Jazz Festival returns with another wide-ranging, jam packed programme of around 40 top quality bands here in The Mowlem, in the marquee on Sandpit Field and with Fringe events in The Showbar and in venues all over Swanage. 

The Jazz Festival are thrilled to welcome debut performances by legends like Andy Sheppard and Elaine Delmar alongside rising newcomers like The Jazz Defenders, Emily Masser and Sultan Stevenson. The line-up features Jazz Fusion with Hejira and BD Lenz, straight ahead post-Bop with Simon Spillett and Pete Long, contemporary Jazz with Kevin Figes’ You Are Here, Ribbons and The Jon Lloyd Quartet.  And we have a great New Orleans programme with The Adrian Cox Trio, Ian Bateman’s tribute to Louis Armstrong and Rainey’s Revue.
