Artist’s Talk: Jindra Jehu – Precarious Bodies

Jindra Jehu is a West Dorset based multidisciplinary artist. Following a formal arts education, she went on to develop a practice alongside art teaching. In 2023 she completed an MA in Fine Art at Arts University Bournemouth and received the Post Graduate Award. She was a finalist in the RPS Women Science Photographer of the Year 2023 and in 2024 was awarded the John Purcell Paper Prize. Jindra Jehu spent 2024 in residence at Spudworks in the New Forest.

In this exhibition of recent work, embodied drawings and sculptural forms speak of the interconnected of all things, the natural cycles of renewal and ask the question ‘Where do we fit within the cosmos?’

Join us in the Studio at 6.30pm on Weds 1st October as we host a conversation about her work – free entry.
