An Evening with Diverse City

Join us at The Mowlem for a special evening celebrating 20 years of Diverse City — a performing arts charity that has spent two decades widening who theatre is for, who gets to make it, and whose stories are seen and heard.
 
Hosted by Claire Hodgson and Jamie Beddard, this celebratory event brings together short films, artist stories and live conversation, offering a window into the people, ideas and moments that have shaped Diverse City’s work — and the futures still to come.
 
This is an evening rooted in people, not performance alone — shaped by artists’ lived experience, shared stories and the belief that culture is strongest when it is made with, for and by everyone. A chance to gather around 20 years of change, and to look ahead to the next 20 years of welcoming more people into our cultural life.
