Job title: Book Keeper
Reports to: Chair of Finance and Operations Committee and Operations Manager
Line managed by: Operations Manager
Responsible for: Day to day Book keeping for the Mowlem
Location: Based at the Mowlem, Swanage. Some flexibility for working.
Salary: £14.30 per hour for 8 hours per week. Equivalent to £5948.80 pa.
Work Pattern: 8 hours per week

Main Purpose of the Job: To carry out the book keeping function for the Mowlem. Working with the Chair of the Finance and Operations Committee and Finance Consultant to help in producing monthly accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily reconciliations with Ticket Source and Square – ensure tracking is included in Xero
  • Bank reconciliations in Xero
  • Adjust stock on a monthly basis for amounts sold
  • Adjust balance sheet for films/productions sold in advance
  • Ensure that the quarterly rent invoices are sent to the tenants
  • Review purchase invoices to ensure correct tracking categories have been included
  • Prepare BACs runs on a weekly basis from invoices in Xero
  • Monthly payroll – ensure hours are taken from Square shifts
  • Monthly pension declarations on Nest
  • PRS quarterly returns
