A Little Bit of The Script’s The Thing

The Mowlem is delighted to host this special scriptwriting evening, presented in partnership with Artsreach and Dorchester Arts.
The first Dorset scriptwriting festival, The Script’s The Thing, was held in October 2023 and was a huge success, featuring work from over 70 writers for stage, TV, film and performance with organisations including BBC Writersroom and NT New Work.  In the build-up to the next Festival on Saturday 3rd  May 2025, come to this special evening to enjoy work by local writers and film contributions from actors, playwrights and directors including Mark Rylance, Beth Flintoff, and Patrick Marber.
