Multi-award-winning sax virtuoso Andy Panayi has over 40 years’ experience at the forefront of British jazz, performing with legends like Freddie Hubbard, John Dankworth, and Wynton Marsalis. Andy Panayi is an exceptionally gifted musician, skilled in performance, composition and arranging. He plays all the flutes and all the saxophones and currently leads his own groups, both jazz and classical. He also writes commissioned works and compositions & arrangements for his own ensembles.
Andy has performed and recorded with many singers including: Paul McCartney, Elaine Delmar, Elaine Paige, Seth MacFarlane, Georgie Fame, Irene Reed and Jessye Norman.
He’s also worked alongside or supported Abdullah Ibrahim, Freddie Hubbard, Phil Woods, Wynton Marsalis, Ronnie Scott, Kenny Baker, John Dankworth & Cleo Laine, Humphrey Lyttelton, Alan Barnes and many more. He has played as a member of The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Big Band, the Stan Tracey Big Band/Septet/Octet and Mark Nightingale’s Big Band, amongst others.
Bill Mudge is a versatile keyboardist rooted in jazz and improvised music, effortlessly crossing genres with ease. With a deep affinity for electro-mechanical instruments, he brings the organ trio to life through inventive arrangements and original compositions. Over the years, Bill has recorded and performed with acclaimed artists across the UK and beyond, including Sara Dowling, Jim Mullen, Nigel Price, Scott McKeon and many others.
Drummer Andy Chapman has worked with some of the biggest names on the UK jazz scene including Jason Rebello, Kit Downes, Nigel Price, Liane Carroll, Roger Beaujolais, Mike Outram, Iain Ballamy and many others.
