A local poetJo Tatchell\, who lives in Purbeck will read some of her poems and talk about what has inspired her and who her influences are. Hannah CopleyHannah is a poet and academic who was shortlisted for the prestigious 2024 T.S.Eliot Poetry Prize. She previously won the York Literary Festival Poetry Prize and the Newcastle Poetry Prize. She has published two collections of poetry; Speculum (2021) and Lapwing (2024) and is the editor of Stand Magazine and was also editor of the long-running poetry magazine\, Poetry and Audience. Hannah is a leading British poet and we are very fortunate to have her at our inaugural poetry event.
