DESCRIPTION:SoundCellar & Swanage Jazz Festival present Ursula Harrison & Sylvie Noble				\n				\n				\n				\n									2024 BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year\, bassist URSULA HARRISON\, together with rising star vocalist SYLVIE NOBLE bring their intimate and exploratory contemporary jazz/folk to Swanage. Sylvie and Ursula (who played a memorable gig at SoundCellar Poole in 2024\, alongside SoundCellar Mowlem jazz legend Eddie Gripper)\, first met on the vibrant South-Wales jazz scene\, bonding over a shared love of both jazz and folk music. Recording their debut album ‘New Eve’ in summer 2025\, the subsequent year has seen them embrace a collective approach to story telling\, both bringing original compositions and lyrics to the project. Their sound combines deep\, earthy grooves\, light dancing melodies and powerful swing.
