February Line-up: John Meagher, Sally-Anne Hayward and Bobby Mair

John Meagher is a rising Irish stand-up comedian recognised for his bold, timely writing and strong working-class voice, having been runner-up in the 2022 Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and a winner of the Panel Prize at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of Best in Class. Now in demand across major UK and Irish comedy clubs, he has supported Patrick Kielty on his five-month Borderlines tour. Before his life in stand-up comedy, John trained as a mixed Martial Artist and fought for the Irish team at the World Karate Championships – think Joe Rogan if he believed in vaccines.

Sally-Anne Hayward is an award-winning comedian and experienced broadcaster, recognised as Best UK Compere 2019 and a popular corporate performer for major clients including Virgin Media. A regular at Glastonbury Festival, she has toured internationally, supported leading comics such as Sarah Millican and Russell Howard, showcased her writing at the Edinburgh Fringe, and built an extensive radio and TV career across the BBC and Channel 4, alongside co-hosting the comedy podcast Spit or Swallow.

Bobby Mair is a Canadian stand-up comedian based in London. He starred in the Comedy Central sitcom Bobby and Harriet: Get Married alongside his wife and has appeared multiple times on Comedy Central’s Roast Battle including a battle with his wife that got millions of hits online. Other credits include 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC2). He’s opened for Doug Stanhope, Bill Burr and Bill Maher, appeared three times at Just For Laughs in Montreal and once appeared on Katie Hopkins TV show just so he could give the fee to everyone she hates.
