Drawing from a love of Turkish\, Eastern & Middle Eastern music\, Flamenco\, Tango\, and more—all mixed with jazz—Meier’s versatility and musical fluency extend well beyond that\, even. (… so much so that his considerable talents drew the attention of rock guitar legend Jeff Beck\, who made Nicolas a mainstay in The Jeff Beck Group\, taking him on two world tours over the last several years.) \nNicolas has released numerous albums under his own name and\, in addition to touring with Jeff Beck\, has worked with internationally renowned musicians such as Vinnie Colaiuta\, Tim Garland\, Gary Husband\, Dave O’Higgins\, and many others. This session will include designing\, cutting\, sticking and block printing to make colourful sea creatures for a collaborative artwork. \nThe session is divided into two parts\, with a 15-minute break. Adults attending with children are welcome to visit the Showbar. We also require one guardian accompanying a child/set of children to be present during the workshop.
