Director Georgia Oakley (Blue Jean) turns her lens
toward Jane Austen’s iconic masterpiece in this
highly anticipated 2026 adaptation. Filmed largely
on locations across Dorset, it stars Daisy Edgar-
Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles as the Dashwood
sisters. The film provides a fresh, witty, and deeply
human exploration of love and sisterhood in a
world of rigid social expectation. With a screenplay
by Diana Reid and a stellar ensemble cast, this
production brings a gentle modern sensibility
to the classic struggle between the head and
