Help Us Raise the Roof!

For almost 60 years, our building has stood strong, hosting community groups, supporting local causes, and being a home for countless memories. But now, we’ve got a major problem. The roof, a stubbornly flat relic from another era, has been leaking for a while – and it’s getting worse.

We’ve done all we can with temporary fixes, but they’re no longer enough. Without urgent repairs, we face the very real possibility of cancelling shows, damaging key equipment, or even closing the building.

We’re launching this Crowdfunder, to ask our supporters to help us raise £10,000. With this money, along with other fundraising initiatives, we’ll be able to add a permanent weather proof layer to our existing roof and keep the rain out for years to come.

We welcome donations from £1 upwards and every penny really does help to keep our space open and our venue dry. We’ve put together a variety of rewards, which include the opportunity to have a plaque with your name on one of our auditorium seats, as well as Mowlem branded merchandise and experiences.
