Mowlem Big Weekend – 3 Operas, 1 Evening with Destination Opera

Destination Opera is a Dorset based opera company dedicated to bring world class opera into communities and breaking down barriers and stereotypes. We place particular emphasis on participation whether it be 140 school aged children performing a complete Mozart opera in Sherborne Abbey or a massed community chorus performing opera choruses in the High Angle Battery, Portland.

Cheryl Enever and Jon Valender are joined by pianist Nicholas O’Neil in bringing opera to you, weaving three powerful stories into a single performance. Designed for all audiences—whether new to opera or lifelong lovers—it combines exceptional singing with storytelling and warmth. All the passion of the opera house is brought to you, come and meet the characters and hear the music.
