Mowlem Big Weekend – Open Mic Night with Ryan

This is your chance to take the stage!  
Join host Ryan for a relaxed and welcoming Open Mic Night in The Showbar. Whether you’re a singer, musician, poet, comedian or just want to cheer others on, everyone’s invited to be part of the fun.

Performers ages 16+ can sign up on the night, from 7:30pm onwards, outside the Showbar and all abilities are welcome. The bar will be open, and the atmosphere is friendly, supportive and full of Big Weekend energy. A mic and an acoustic guitar will be provided. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own instruments. 

Hosting The Mowlem’s very first open mic is Ryan Lowe, a musician of 25 years best known for being part of local favourites ‘Spoonphed’, among others in Swanage and London. Having returned to his hometown after spending time living across the UK and travelling Asia, Ryan is looking forward to giving back to the community by encouraging local artists, both old and new, to take the stage and showcase their talents.
