The Showbar is Swanage’s best kept secret! Find us on the first floor at The Mowlem with panoramic views of Swanage Bay.

With a varied program of live music, a monthly quiz and an open mic night, The Showbar always entertains – even when we don’t have events in the bar we have our unrivalled views of the beautiful bay, and the best range of drinks in town!

We specialise in locally sourced beer and cider and the very best snacks. We have real ale from Swanage’s Hattie Brown’s Brewery, craft beer on tap from Eight Arch in Wimborne, cider from Purbeck Cider Company and award-winning alcohol-free beer on tap from Electric Bear in Bath, as well as Camden Hells and Camden Stout.

Our craft beer fridge always has at least fifteen different Eight Arch, Vibrant Forest, Electric Bear and Dark Revolution cans to drink in or take away. Our range of spirits includes Mermaid gin, rum and vodka from the Isle of Wight Distillery, and our wine is sourced through Templar Wines in Poole.

We try to cater for everyone – all our beer and cider is 100% vegan-friendly, and we always keep at least two gluten-free beers in can or bottle. We also keep an alcohol-free menu including Guinness 0%, Lucky Saint and Peroni 0% as well as craft AF beer and cider, and Gordons 0% gin. We even serve a great mug of tea, and our Bomo Roast coffee is as good as it gets!

All profits from the bar contribute to the running of the theatre, so every drink or snack you buy helps us to keep our community entertained!
