Every seat in our auditorium has a story, first dates, family outings, panto nights, the film that made you cry, the gig you still talk about. Now you can make one of those seats your own.
Take Your Seat is your chance to leave a lasting, personal mark on The Mowlem, while helping to secure the future of Purbeck’s only year-round cultural venue
How it works
For a one-off gift of £210, you can sponsor a seat in our auditorium. In return, you’ll receive:
- A personalised plaque on your seat, with a name, message or dedication of your choice (up to 40 characters)
- A certificate confirming your sponsorship
- Recognition on our Supporters page [and in our programme, if desired]
- The knowledge that every time someone sits in “your” seat, they’re supported by you.
Sponsorships last for 10 years and can be renewed.
Why sponsor a seat
The Mowlem welcomes over 26,000 visits a year, for theatre, cinema, live music, comedy and community events. Seat sponsorship is a simple, lasting way to support all of it, and to be part of the venue’s next chapter.
Your sponsorship helps fund the everyday running of the venue, as well as essential improvements, from replacing our ageing auditorium lighting to upgrading our cinema screen and keeping our spaces comfortable all year round.
Who sponsors a seat?
