Get Involved

The Mowlem is a thriving cultural hub for Swanage, supporting our residents’ well-being and Purbeck’s wider economic regeneration. Whether you’re looking for paid work or want to volunteer your time, there’s a place for you on our team.

Give something back to your community while gaining inside knowledge of a professional theatre. Volunteers help us in all sorts of ways, from front of house to technical support, and get free tickets to selected shows and films along the way.

Join our team and help shape the future of The Mowlem as we grow into a thriving cultural venue for Swanage and Purbeck. We offer a friendly, supportive working environment across a range of roles.

Pitches are now being accepted for the inaugural Shore Things at The Mowlem.  The event will take place in The Studio at 2:30pm on Dec 6th 2026. We are after Three new 15 minute pieces of performance looking for their first outing.
