Swanage Literary Festival – Martin Hobdell (Martin the Poet)

Martin Hobdell presents his unique and topical poetry. He grew up in Tottenham and after doing an English degree at QMC, a career in teaching followed. On moving to Swanage in 2005, and joining two local poetry groups, he set up his own in 2015, which now meets at the British Legion. After taking part in a poetry Slam in 2011, he has increasingly performed his comedy poetry in local venues.
